PADDY TOWN - NELLORE

The historic town of Nellore in India’s southernmost state, Andhra Pradesh, has long been known for its magnificent Paddy fields and ancient temple. This town is now also known as the city of Education, where there are no of educational institutions, renowned hospital and medical college. This town has produced many scholars, doctors, leaders and etc. Most of the students in Andhra Pradesh prefer to study in Nellore, because it now became a place to studies.

Our location and how to reach it

Narayana Engineering College is located in India's southern State, Andhra Pradesh. The Institute's main entrance is on the Nellore - Muthukur Road. This college is located near to the NH-5 National highway. The nearest airport is Chennai, 3 hours’ drive away. The nearest Bus station is 3 Km away and the nearest Railway Station is 4 km away.

THE INSTITUTE

Mr. P. Narayana, and educationalist promoted this institute as Narayana Engineering College in the year 1998. This college was affiliated to JNTUniversity and offered five Under Graduate Engineering courses namely, Electronics and communication, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Information Technology and Electrical and Instrumentation. The constant support and effort by the Management, Faculty, Students, and Parents led the college to grow in both quantitatively and qualitatively. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India, has ensured accreditation of all the courses offered at the college. Further in the year 1998, we have included another new branch namely Electronics and Computers and in the year 2002 we have introduced another branch namely Bio-Medical. Now we have a total intake of 480 students per year, we have an exceptional faculty, resources and students. Our moto is to give the students an excellence in his or her career, our goal to shape their future in all the ways.
