The central library (A/C) is housed in A-Block first floor with carpet area of about 580Sq.M.It has 19,205 books and also subscribes 88 National and International journals. It also subscribes for online journals (IEEE/IEE). Back volumes of the journals and the students project reports are also available in the library
Database of the library software is well furnished and computerised using Libsoft software.Barcode system is implemented for effective circulation. The Book Bank division lends books to the economically poor, SC and ST students. A total of 1296 books are available in the book bank for circulation.
To meet the ever growing necessity of the latest resources in engineering, Digital Library was started in the year 2003 and it consists of 100 hours of pre-recorded lectures by stalwarts in the field of science & technology, SONET VCD’s, DELNET, E-books. Computers with internet facility are available to access online resources such as IEEE, ACME and Television with satellite connection to watch live broadcast of UGC, SONET and MANA TV programs. Apart from the central library every department has its own library.
The College has indigenously developed library software & it has reprographic, bookbinding and lamination facilities, which are available to the students at a nominal cost. |
